The CKSVF was first launched in Toronto, Canada in 2015 with the goals exploring the Canadian and Korean startup ecosystems and allowing a chance for each communities to share expertise while giving Korean startups a chance to globalize. The conference was attended by prominent figures with the keynote speech given by the Honourable Reza Moridi, Minister of Research, Innovation and Science of Ontario.
The following CKSVF was held in 2016 at the Ritz Carlton Toronto, Canada as part of the Global Venture Week 2016. The event brought numerous startups from Korea to demonstrate their companies in front of the Canadian market for a chance to start their venture in globalization outside of the Korean market.
