GlobalStart Pitch Competition

Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) will held it's first GlobalStart Pitch Competition at Discovery 2016 this year in partnership with KIGALabs and the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED).

Three Ontario companies were selected as finalists to compete for an OCE GlobalStart award of $15,000 to help them access the first global market that they had identified. Similarly, three Korean companies will be jointly selected by KIGALabs and KISED as finalists to compete for an equivalent award to be awarded by KISED.

Innovative technology-based start-ups from both Ontario and Korea that are at the customer validation or customer creation stage were encouraged to apply.
