Mentor Pool

Funded by the Government of Ontario, OCE fosters the training and development of the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs and is a key partner with Ontario’s industry, universities, colleges, research hospitals, investors and governments.

OCE is a member of the Ontario Network of Entrepreneurs (ONE) and a key partner in delivering Ontario’s Innovation Agenda.

Ontario Centres of Excellence posseses an extensive pool of indistry specific mentors who can provide guidance through different stages of business development. Though our partnership with OCE, KIGALabs has access to the OCE's pool as well as it's partners' such as DMZ and MaRS.

INKE Toronto

KOVA operates an organization to help promote overseas advancement of Korean venture companies: INKE (International Network of Korean Entrepreneurs) (www.inke.org). A ‘global business network’ whose major players include Korean businessmen working and engaging deeply in the world market. 

As of October 2009, INKE has secured its network of 50 branches across 30 countries around the world. The organization constantly links Korean venture companies keen on exporting and advancing into non-Korean markets to INKE members from around the world, leading to approximately 200 million dollars in revenue each year.

As an aggressive proponent of Korean venture companies’ global leadership, INKE also operates the Korea Venture Gallery, a display and marketing function, in Moscow, Russia; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Fukuoka, Japan; Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam.

 

Keiretsu Forum is the world’s largest angel investor network with over 1500+ accredited investor members throughout 39 chapters in 12 countries on three continents. Since Keiretsu Forum’s founding in 2000, its members have invested over USD550 million in 700+ companies in technology, consumer products, internet, healthcare/life sciences, real estate and other segments with high growth potential. Member investments vary in response to the requesting company’s genuine needs, but are typically in the range of USD500,000 – USD6 million.

Keiretsu has programs and mentors for startups. KIGALabs will collaborate with Keiretsu for program development and share its mentor pool.

CEO Global Network is a CEO and executive peer group organization that leads business coaching opportunities for learning and development through peer group meetings led by experienced CEO Group Leaders, targeted one-to-one mentoring, and focused learning events throughout the year.

CEO Global Network’s mission is to significantly improve the success and lives of CEOs and executives, their families, and their companies. Their vision is to be the most customer-focused CEO and executive development organization in the world, and provide Members with the broadest and deepest range of products and services.

CEO Global Network have agreed to share their members who are available for providing mentorship to Korean startups.
