TMI-Tek incorporates in Ontario

After entering the mentorship program under KIGA Labs back in September of 2015, TMI-Tek is now officially incorporated in Ontario.

TMI-Tek is a startup founded in South Korea working in the Smart Building sector. By applying the IoT-based technology and smart device technology to the building light control system, they allow management and savings through the active building control system based on sensors. Straying away from the irrational management of control system, TMI-Tek provides active management for actual users to manage the area and annually set preferences. Temperature, humidity, and CO2 are monitored in real time and are automated via sensors. Their technology provides energy usage reports, time schedules installation, and repairs available without data cables.

Their expansion into the North American market has allowed them to produce new partnerships and ventures with large incumbents such as ALLIED, a major enterprise in the infrastructure industry. The new venture with ALLIED is expected to begin in the 3rd quarter of 2016.
