Discovery 2016: Founder's Forum

The Discovery 2016: Founder's Forum event occurred over the course of two days on May 9th and 10th in Toronto, Ontario. This event was designed to bring together top companies from Ontario's CLAs and OCEAs, and regional innovation ecosystem in order to encourage networking and information sharing.

Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) brought together 3000+ attendees to participate in the sharing of new knowledge, as well as offering exceptional speakers as well as breakout sessions to help address some of the challenges that companies may face as they are working to grow their company. The major theme for Discovery 2016 was "accessing global markets to build viable and scalable companies in Ontario" and so in partnership with KIGALabs and the Korea Institute of Startup and Entrepreneurship Development (KISED) the GlobalStart Pitch Competition was held at Discovery 2016 where KIGALabs' CEO alongside a few of the advisors were judges in the competition.
